The law firm of Eisbrouch Marsh is pleased to announce that Vince A. Sicari has joined the firm as Of Counsel. Mr. Sicari is a seasoned litigator who brings nearly two decades of experience in practice, from his start with a local law firm through a career as a solo practitioner handling a variety of civil and criminal matters, and including a five-year stint on the bench.

Eisbrouch Marsh, LLC, has been protecting the rights of personal injury victims for more than 25 years. Located in Hackensack, NJ, the firm serves clients in Bergen County and throughout Northern New Jersey and the New York City metropolitan area. Mr. Sicari’s breadth and depth of legal practice brings a wealth of experience to our team that will help us provide even greater service to our clients.

Vince Sicari is a graduate of New York Law School and holds an accounting degree from Fordham University College of Business Administration. He is admitted to the New Jersey, New York, and District of Columbia Bar, as well as admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Sicari began his professional career representing criminal defendants and personal injury victims with several Hackensack firms before opening his own practice. He developed specialties including personal injury litigation, criminal defense, contract and consumer fraud defense, divorce, and real estate practice that includes landlord-tenant matters and leases and closings.

From 2008 through 2013, Mr. Sicari also served South Hackensack Township as the presiding judge of the municipal court. This hands-on position involved around-the-clock on call duty for bail hearings, domestic violence protection proceedings, and all-hours meetings with law enforcement to issue search warrants.

In addition, Mr. Sicari also currently serves as a member of the Bergen County Adjuster’s Office. In this position, he is responsible for psychiatric commitment and release of patients in state mental health facilities. Mr. Sicari’s responsibilities include representing Bergen County in commitment hearings to ensure that patients are placed in the least restrictive conditions based upon their mental status and capacity.

Mr. Sicari’s successful career has been widely recognized by area professionals. He has been the keynote speaker at the Bergen County Bar Association for two years and he has led continuing legal education classes on ethics. His varied outside interests include competitive long distance running and various forms of martial arts.
